Doris Peaks, 82, of Millport, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025, in Baptist Memorial Hospital Desoto.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Service will be Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS with Bro. Jerry Robbins officiating. Interment will be at Spring Hill Cemetery in Millport, Alabama.

Mrs. Peaks was born November 15, 1942, in Millport, Alabama, to the late Ida Miller Ussery and Charlie Boyd Ussery. She loved to play the piano and was an avid reader. In addition her parents, Mrs. Peaks is preceded in death by her daughter- Karen Cushing, sister- Lucille Robbins, and brothers- Roy Ussery and Arlie Ussery.

Mrs. Peaks is survived by her husband- William "Bill" Peaks, son- Christopher (Lesly) Peaks, grandchildren- Alexandra Peaks, Alexis Williams, Michael Spencer Williams, son-in-law- Jim Cushing, and other friends and family.

Pallbearers will be Mike Robbins, Hunter Boland, Jim Cushing, Richard Davis, Blake Michael, Ricky Ussery, Tony Smith, and Ronnie Pennington.
