Dorothy Neil Bunton, 54 of Columbus, MS passed away Sunday, January 14, 2017.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Eastview Baptist Church, Columbus, MS.

Mrs. Bunton was born March 8, 1963, to Lavelle Eads and the late Newton Bennett in Columbus, MS.  She lived in Columbus almost her entire lifetime and was a cashier at Sprint Mart for many years. "Mawmaw" was the anchor that held her family together.

Mrs. Bunton was survived by her husband – James T. Bunton, Columbus, MS; son – Terry Boykin, Steens, MS; daughters – Christy (Lelan) Keefer, Columbus, MS and Heather (Randy) Cosby, Columbus, MS; mother – Lavelle Bennett, Columbus, MS; sister – Kathy (David) Cox, Flintstone, GA; brother – Johnny Bennett, Columbus, MS; 5 grandchildren – Evelyn Boykin, Cameron Boykin, Madison Boykin, Daniel Karr and Linda Mae Cosby.
