Dorothy "Dot" Christine Patrick Martin, 89, of Columbus, MS passed away Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Windsor Place in Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 8, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM with Bro. Steve Lammons officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.

Mrs. Martin was born October 27, 1929 to the late Frank C. and Johnnie Nance Patrick in Madisonville, KY. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Columbus, MS for many years. Mrs. Martin married the late H.W. "Doc" Martin on March 15, 1947 in Leakesville, MS. She graduated from Citronelle High School in 1947. Mrs. Martin enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Martin is preceded in death by her son- Terry Martin; sister- Peggy Edwards; brothers- John Patrick, Byron Patrick, Frank Patrick and William Patrick.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her daughter- Patricia (Keith) Swedenburg of Ethelsville, AL; son- Mark (Carolyn) Martin of West Monroe, LA; grandchildren- Brian (Heather) Swedenburg, Jeff (Rebecca) Swedenburg, Stephanie Martin, Kristina Martin; great grandchildren- Haley (Ridge) Roberts,  Bailey Swedenburg, Jace Johnson, Gabriel Johnson; brother- Wade Patrick.

Pallbearers will be Henry McQueen, Ray Crane, Frankie Goldmon, David Dortch, Clint Loudermilk, Joe Loudermilk. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees and staff of the Arrington and Windsor Place.
