Dorothy Cheryl Robinson, 72, of Columbus, MS, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at Sanctuary Hospice House, Tupelo, MS.

Private Family Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lowndes Funeral Home.

Mrs. Robinson was born August 8, 1943, to the late Dudley Selph Meyers, Jr. and Christine Winters Myers in Vicksburg, MS. She moved from Memphis, TN, and has been living in Columbus for about 14 years. Mrs. Robinson worked 10 years for Lynn Buxbaum Interiors as an office clerk. She was also a volunteer at Annunciation Catholic School, Columbus, MS. Mrs. Robinson enjoyed arranging flowers and repurposing arts and crafts. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband-Gene Robinson and sister-Beverly Jose.

Mrs. Robinson is survived by her daughter-Tracy (Douglas) Ferraez and Kimberly Chapman, Memphis TN; sisters-Karen Flowers, Columbus, MS and Billie Jo Belden, Memphis, TN; and 6 grandchildren.
