Douglas Glenn Hill, 83, of Columbus, MS passed away Friday, April 23, 2021, at his residence.

A visitation will be held Sunday, April 25, 2021, from 1:30-3:00 PM at Fairview Baptist Church Columbus, MS.

Mr. Hill was born on May 26, 1937, in Houston, MS to the late Amanda Hill and Arthur Hill. He was the owner of Old Hickory for 29 years then Doug and Hazel's for 24 years. Mr. Hill was a member of American Legion Post 69 and had a passion for helping people. He had many great traits and characteristics that he passed on to his children, he loved his family and spending time with them. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hill is preceded in death by his daughter- Carol Tane Dulemba,  grandchild- Lyndsi Marie Hill. 3 sisters, and 2 brothers.

Mr. Hill is survived by his wife of 50 years- Hazel Cummins Hill of Columbus, MS; sons-Perry (Anna Rose) Eisel, and Douglas Glenn Hill of Columbus, MS; daughters- CeCelia (Jerry) Owen of Columbus, MS, Becky (Rick) Duggan of Tupelo, MS and Susan Tucker of Columbus, MS; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother- Harold Hill of Forsythe, MO, and his pet- Poppy.
