Dwan Cantrell McDill, 89, of Kennedy, Alabama, passed away Friday, October 25, 2024, at her residence.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 30, 2024, 1:00-2:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS, with Bro. Ken Henegar officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Ethelsville, Alabama with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Dwan McDill was born December 29, 1934, in Hamilton, Alabama, to the late Hubert Seth Cantrell and Judson Brown Hankins. She was a member of Liberty Assembly of God, where she was previously a Sunday School teacher. Mrs. Dwan worked as an inspector at United Technologies for over 32 years. She loved cooking for family dinners and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dwan is preceded in death by her husband- J.W. "Bo" Wright and W.D. McDill; son- Richard Willard (Sheila) Wright and brother- Hugh Brown (Virginia) Cantrell.

Mrs. Dwan is survived by her son, Steve Alan (Melissa) Wright; grandchildren, Alan (Vickie) Wright, Myron Wright, Jim Wright, Jason (Lisa) Wright, Amanda (Thomas) Taylor, and Shane Taylor; great-grandchildren, Gavin, Finley, Fisher, Alyssa, Lisa, Brian, Caylee, Parker, Audrey, and Eli; and great-great-grandchild, Louise.

Pallbearers will be Alan Wright, Jim Wright, Jason Wright, and Shane Wright. Honorary Pallbearers will be The men at Liberty Assembly of God.
