Earline Reynolds Underwood, 92 of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, April 10, 2023, at Trinity Healthcare, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 12, 2023, from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS;  A funeral service will follow in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Matt Moehring officiating.  The interment will be at Spring Hill Cemetery, Millport, AL  with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Earline Reynolds Underwood was born December 3, 1930, in Hightogy, AL, to Edward and Millie Reynolds. She had made Steens, MS, her home for nearly 80 years. She was a retired employee of United Technologies, having worked there for 38 years. After retirement in 1991, you could find Earline working in her yard when weather permitted and, at other times, enjoyed honing her skills as a seamstress. As a Godly woman, she inspired many friends and family, leading by example the values of Christian living. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, L. C. Underwood, and Mayo Dowdle; son, Gary Underwood; an infant daughter; brothers, Tommy Reynolds, Billy Reynolds, and David Lewis Reynolds; sisters, Verline Arnold, Dorothy West, and son-in-law, John Clark.

She is survived by her daughter, Dottie Underwood Clark; sisters, Betty Ray Anderson, Jeanett Reynolds, and Joyce Alred; grandchildren, Kevin Clark (Angela) and Brian Clark (Amy); great-grandchildren, Sarah Clark, Landon Clark, and Colton Clark, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Clark, Brian Clark, Landon Clark, Scott Harris, Clint Stinson, and Doug Webber. Honorary Pallbearers will be Deacons at Steens First Baptist Church and Kolola Springs Baptist Church, Jerry Reynolds, and Thomas Brown.

The family would like to acknowledge the high level of service and loving care shown to her by the entire staff of Trinity Healthcare Center.
