Edna Carley, 89, of Columbus, MS, passed away Monday, July 21, 2025, at her residence.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Service will be Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.

Ms. Carley was born January 24, 1936, in Reform, Alabama, to the late Ella Lee Jaynes Barnes and Leo McDaniel. In addition to her parents, Ms. Carley is preceded in death by her son- Scott Carley; grandson- Legend Carley; stepmother- Jewell McDaniel; grandparents- Joshua C. (Leona) Jaynes, and Burl W. (Alice) McDaniel; and one sister- Loretta Moore.

Ms. Carley is survived by her 2 sons- Alan (Lisa) Carley and Bobby (Cheryl) Wright; daughter- Kay Carley; Grandchildren- Jeremy (Melissa) Swain, Lindsey Carley, Scottie (Marah) Carley, Delania Crowe; 4 great grandchildren; 2 sisters- Carolyn (Jimmy) Allman and Odenia (Jim) Miller; and daughter-in-law- Tiffany Smith.
