Edna Katherine Holliman, 82 of Columbus, MS passed away, Friday, July 26, 2013 at her residence. A graveside service for Mrs. Holliman will be Monday, July 29, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS with Bro. Roy Hawkins officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Holliman was born February 25, 1931 to the late George and Gertrude Langford Ray in Columbus, MS. She graduated as Valedictorian from New Hope High School Class of 1950. Mrs. Holliman was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Holliman was preceded in death by her brothers - George David Ray, Jr., Floyd Thomas Ray, James Perry Ray, Charlie Buck Ray, William Douglas Ray and Donald Allen Ray, sisters - Mary Arlene Berridge and Margaret R. Wood. Mrs. Holliman is survived by her husband of 59 years - Bobby G. Holliman, Columbus, MS, daughters - Linda Holliman - Columbus, MS, Barbara Holliman - Florence, SC, Cindi Holliman - Flowood, MS, Lisa (Darryl) McGee - Dale City, VA, Ann (Matthew) Smith - Tampa, FL and Nancy (Robert) Christian - Millport, AL, son - Larry Holliman - Fulton, MS, sister - Virginia (Lindsay) Holman - Millport, AL, brothers - Jimmy (Shirley) Ray - Ethelsville, AL and Robert Ray - Florida. brother-in-law - Donald (Mary) Holliman - Alvord, TX, sisters-in-law -Maureen Higdon - Warrensburg, MO, Sue Ray-Columbus, MS, Dorothy Ray -Columbus, MS, Debra Ray -Northport, AL, 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
