Edna Fay Jenkins, 82 of Columbus, MS passed away, Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

A graveside service will be Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 9:00 AM at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Jenkins was born June 30, 1934 to the late Silas and Sula May Hutchinson Ridgeway in Lamar County, Al and lived in the area her entire life.  She was co-owner of Lamar County Lake Bait Shop and enjoyed fishing, camping and knitting.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by her husband Robert Vernon Jenkins.

Mrs. Jenkins is survived by her daughter – Myra Kay Owens, Prattville, AL; grandchildren – Angie Moxley and Quint Owens; and 6 great-grandchildren.
