Edward Ernest Slancauskas, 64, of Columbus, MS passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 26, 2017, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at 11:00 AM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gene Bramlett officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Slancauskas was born November 13, 1953, in McKees Rocks, PA to the late Ernest Robert Slan and the late Virginia Pelczarski Slan. He worked as a Housing Manager for the US Government for 34 years. Mr. Slancauskas was a member of the US Army for 10 years. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Mr. Slancauskas is survived by his son- Matthew (Sonja) Slancauskas of Columbus, MS; sister- Donna Krall of McKees Rocks, PA; and grandchildren- Ava Slancauskas, and Emmy Slancauskas.
