Edward Swedenburg, 59 of Columbus, MS passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

Mr. Swedenburg was born May 27, 1962, in Columbus, MS to the late William Thomas Swedenburg and Mary Lee Boothe Swedenburg.  He worked as a painter and handyman.  Mr. Swedenburg enjoyed shooting pool, and cookouts with his family.  Most of his days were spent helping out and fixing things for anyone he could.

Mr. Swedenburg is survived by his 2 daughters – Tabatha Swedenburg, Taft, AL and Jessica Swedenburg, Cantonment, FL; 4 sisters – Peggy Simons, Columbus, MS, Linda (Willie) Lawson, Columbus, MS, Lois (Monty) Townsend, LaGrange, GA and Lorene (Bobby) Stitcher, Hogansville, GA; 2 brothers – Eugene Swedenburg, Columbus, MS and Jimmy (Paulette) Swedenburg, Columbus, MS; 5 grandchildren – Jackson Devries, Autumn Devries, Liala Taylor, Adalyn Weddington, and Charlie Weddington.
