Elizabeth Ann Carter Stiles, 90, passed away on Wednesday, January 08, 2020, at her residence in Starkville. Lowndes Funeral Home and Crematory is entrusted with final arrangements.

Ms. Stiles was born June 08, 1929, in Louisiana, to the late Thomas Jonathan Carter, Jr. and Elizabeth Pritchard Carter. She retired from the federal government, having worked as an Editor for the Corps of Engineers for over 30 years. She relocated to Starkville from the Vicksburg area. Ms. Stiles was a Traditional Episcopalian by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Donald Curtis Stiles, II, and one brother Thomas Jonathan Carter, III.

Ms. Stiles is survived by her son J. Carter Stiles and four grandchildren.
