Elizabeth Frances Coleman, 95, of Starkville, MS passed away Friday, June 03, 2016 at Vickers Personal Care Home, Starkville, MS.

Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.

Mrs. Coleman was born July 22, 1920, in Hamburg, AR to the late Anton and Katherine Bajt Herlevic.   She was of the Catholic faith and loved her church. Mrs. Coleman also loved gardening and fruit trees. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Coleman was preceded in death by her husband-William S. Coleman, Sr.; daughter-Cecilia "Sandy" Balkenhol; and 1 grandchild.

Mrs. Coleman is survived by her daughters-Lisa (John) Read, Starkville, MS; Maria Elena Cristova , Starkville, MS; Kimberly Clare Newell, Peyton, CO; Katherine (Rick) Pauline Strobel, El Centro, CA; son-William S. Coleman, Jr., Parowan, UT; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
