Cora Elizabeth Stone, 68, of Water Valley, MS passed away Monday, March 6, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital- North Mississippi in Oxford, MS.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Living Faith Tabernacle Cemetery in Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.

Mrs. Stone was born August 19, 1948 to the late Albert and Rosa Lokey Walker in West Virginia. She was a homemaker and loved spending her Saturdays with her family especially her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stone is preceded in death by her husband- David Lee Stone; sister- Clara Purden and brother- Roy Walker.

Mrs. Stone is survived by her daughter- Betty (Henry) Ragan of Caruthersville, MO; sons- Richard Stone of Pearl, MS, David (Angela) Stone and Ben Stone both of Water Valley, MS; grandchildren- Jessica Lynn Brackin, Megan Stone, Nathan Alexander Stone, Laura Rice, Kevin Rice; 2 great-grandchildren; sister- Patricia Greenwood of Columbus, MS.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
