Elizabeth Vaughn, 77 of Columbus, MS passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020, at her residence.

A family visitation will be Friday, May 1, 2020, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.  A family graveside service will be Saturday, May 2, 2020, at 1:00 PM at Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS with Rev. William Vaughn officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Friends may view the service the following day at www.lowndesfuneralhome.net.

Mrs. Vaughn was born March 31, 1943, to the late John and Mary Little Binion in Noxubee County, MS.  He attended Armstrong MB Church, Columbus, MS.  She enjoyed doing puzzles, watching her soap operas and westerns, Tyler Perry movies and spending time with her many grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Vaughn was preceded in death by her daughter – Brenda Evans.

Mrs. Vaughn is survived by her husband – Roger Vaughn, Columbus, MS; sons – Calvin Binion, Meridian, MS, Lydell Evans, Columbus, MS, Nathaniel Evans, Jr., Columbus, MS, and Donell Evans, Columbus, MS; daughter – Priscilla Evans, Columbus, MS; sister – Catherine Binion; 25 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
