Elma Jean Turner, 75, of Steens, MS passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020, peacefully at her residence.
A graveside service will be Sunday, December 13, 2020, at 1:30 PM at Providence Methodist Cemetery, Maben, MS with Morris James officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home Columbus, MS directing. A visitation will be held 30 minutes before service.
Mrs. Turner was born on July 25, 1945, in Pell City, AL to the late Buster and Stella Brown. She graduated from Leeds High School in 1963. Mrs. Turner retired after 30 years of real estate in Columbus, MS. Mrs. Turner was married to Kyrk Turner for over 56 years. She enjoyed being a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. Her favorite times were spent a Lake Lorgan Martin with family and friends. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Turner is preceded in death by her sisters- Betty Maxwell and Joan Overstreet.
Mrs. Turner is survived by her husband- Kyrk Turner, JR.; daughters- Tami (Rodger) Jinks of Columbus, MS and Tina (David) Berryhill of Hamilton, MS; grandchildren- Devi (J.P) Moon, Josh, and Brett Perry, James Allen Williamson, Zakk (Michelle) Berryhill, Nikk Berryhill, Courtney (Blaine) Melancon, Katie, and Jacob Berryhill; great-grandchildren- Kara, Lucas, and Kahlan Berryhill, John Turner Moon, and Connor Berryhill.
Pallbearers will be Zakk Berryhill, Nikk Berryhill, Jacob Berryhill, Josh Perry, Brett Perry, and James Allen Williamson.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
