Emily A. Freemon Emily Freemon, 84 of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012 at her residence. A private family service will be held at a later date. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Freemon was born November 26, 1928 in Dunn, N.C. to the late William and Mamie Aldredge. She retired in 1993 from Bass Estate with more than 41 years of service as a bookkeeper. Mrs. Freemon enjoyed reading, cooking and crocheting. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bob Freemon, Sr. Mrs. Freemon is survived by sons – Boyd Freemon, Tallahassee, FL, Mark Freemon, Columbus, MS, Bob Freemon, Jr. , Tampa, FL, daughters – Peggy Sparks, Columbus, MS, Kim Yelvington, Lake Placid, FL, sister – Dorothy Williams, Venice, FL , 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
