Emmitt Earl Kyle, 77, of Columbus, MS passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 5, 2020, from 10:00-11:00 AM at Springhill Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM with Bro. Kenneth Henegar officiating and Bro. Doug Blakney assisting. Interment will be in Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery, Millport, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.
Mr. Kyle was born on January 16, 1943, in Shaw, MS to the late Webster Kyle and Mabel Sledge Wise Kyle. He loved to play search word puzzles, piddle with cars, and loved his dogs. Mr. Kyle enjoyed camping, riding the golf cart, and visiting his neighbor. In addition to his parents, Mr. Kyle is preceded in death by his mother- Mary Lee Burchfield; grandchild- Hayden White and brother- Burt Kyle.
Mr. Kyle is survived by his wife- Shirley Kyle; children- Candace (Ron) Walters, Dawn (Craig) Brown, Millette Hampton, Wade (Shannon) Hampton, and Tommy Barham; grandchildren- Christopher McManners, Mandy McManners, Chelsea Harlow, Alasca Brown, Adam Graves, Devin (Sierra) Graves, Jessica Hampton, Matthew Hampton, Cole Johnson, Zakary Hampton, Whitney (Anthony) Coleman, Shay (Kimmie) McCoy, Charlie (Blake) Reynolds, JT Barham; great-grandchildren- Zack Evans, Anna Umphress, Gavin Blair, Ayden Sommers, Lilly Valdez, Noah Valdez, Kristin Henry, Abbey Henry, and Christian Andrews; brother- Bernie Kyle and sister- Jane Pearson.
Pallbearers will be Adam Graves, Devin Graves, Eddie Gardner, JT Barham, Ron Walters, and Shay McCoy. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Vail, Kenneth Vail, Timmy Vail, and Zakary Hampton.
