Eric Rivera, 69 of Columbus, MS passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

Mr. Rivera was born in New York, New York, to the late Teresa Ramos Rivera and Pedro Rivera on January 1, 1954. He is a member of the Jehovah's Witness and was a security guard for the Hyatt in Miami, FL for 26 years. Mr. Rivera married the former Darleen Alston on January 21, 1976.

Mr. Rivera is survived by his wife of 47 years- Darleen Alston Rivera; daughter- Lillian (Michael) Livingston; son- Eric (Rinna) Pedro Rivera; grandchildren- Steven McIntosh, Tristan Rivera, Olivia Rivera; brothers- Pedro Rivera, Edwin Rivera, George Rivera, Phillip Rivera and sister- Tessy Arias.
