Ernesteene Bryant, 96, of Columbus, MS passes away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at Vineyard Court Nursing Home.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 5, 2019, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home Columbus, MS. Service will follow in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM with Bro. Steve Lammons officiating. No graveside services with interment at Memorial Gardens Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Bryant was born November 14, 1922, to the late Altha Cook and James "Jim" Sprouse in Lamar Co. AL. She loved to crappie fish, loved gardening and being outside. She was a great cook and loved to cook. She is preceded in death by her husband-Thurman Bryant; brothers-Harvey Sprouse, Grover Sprouse, Bill Sprouse; sisters-Maybell Wallace, Rosella Camp and Pearl Dover.

Mrs. Bryant is survived by her daughters-Patricia (Jimmy) Densmore and Cynthia (Douglas) Livingston both of Columbus, MS; 4 grandchildren; 9 greatgrandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
