Estelle Burgess Gore, 87, of Columbus, MS passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021, at Windsor Place, Columbus, MS.

A graveside service will be Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Friendship Cemetery with Bro. Steve Brown officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Gore was born on March 30, 1933, in Columbus, MS to the late Belva Wilder Burgess and Floyd Augustus Burgess. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mrs. Gore enjoyed sewing, cooking, getting her hair fixed, and watching the Braves play baseball. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gore is preceded in death by her husband- James Clifton Gore.

Mrs. Gore is survived by her son- Jim Gore of Columbus, MS; daughter- Diane Jones; grandchildren- Emily (Jason) Clark, Taylor Gore, Jamie (Jessica) Gore, Bethany Gore, and Jessica Hill; and 3 great-grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jamie Gore, Daylon Ferguson, John Gore, Gene Gore, Donnie Brown, Randy Edmondson, Tim Upton, Doug Brown, Steve Wilks, and Men of Calvary Baptist Church.
