Mr. "Gene" L Nath Sr., 78, of Caledonia, MS passed away Thursday, August 3, 2023, at his residence.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 13, 2023, from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Memorial Service will be Sunday, August 13, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home.

Mr. Nath was born January 21, 1945, in Rockford, IL to the late Pauline Beckmier Nath  Brinker and George Nath. Mr. Nath worked in construction as a builder for many years. He enjoyed woodworking. He was a member of Border Springs Baptist Church in Caledonia, MS. In addition to his parents, Mr. Nath is preceded in death by his numerous brothers and sisters.

Mr. Nath is survived by his wife- Shawn Casswell Nath, daughters- Jana Carroll, Tracy Nath, Cary Reese, Tina (Tony) Dykes; son- Gene Nath, Jr., numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother- Howard Nath; sisters- Francis Johnson, and Arlene Larson.
