Eva Elizabeth "Beth" Halvorson, 47, passed away Monday, November 16, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be from Friday, November 20, 2015 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Canaan Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm with Elder Herb Hatfield and Elder Issac Guess officiating at Canaan Baptist Church. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Halvorson was born on September 20, 1968 to Herbert M. Hatfield, Jr. and Ruth Ann Roberts in Charleston, WV. She moved to the area from the British Virgin Islands and has lived in the area for about 35 years. Mrs. Halvorson was a member of Aberdeen Primitive Baptist Church, Aberdeen, MS. She is preceded in death by her son-Elijah Halverson.

Mrs. Halvorson is survived by her husband-Stacy Halverson, Columbus, MS; parents-Herbert M. and Ruth Ann Hatfield, Aberdeen, MS; sons-Joshua (Amanda) Halverson, Jacob Halverson, and Zachariah Halverson, all of Columbus, MS; daughters-Audrey Halverson, Madalyn Halverson, and  Olivia Halverson, all of Columbus, MS; sisters-Dawn (Roger) Gregory, Columbus, MS; Debra Hatfield and Rebecca Young, both of Aberdeen, MS; brother-John Mark Hatfield, Tupelo, MS; and grandchild-Laura Claire Halverson.

Pallbearers will be Tony Lishman, Tommy Burchfield, Kyle Younger, Jim Bell, Nick Wilson, and Ben Duncan.
