Evan Bailey

Evan James Bailey was born September 12, 1991, in Columbus, MS, to Ronald Martin (Marty) Bailey and Susan Snapp. He passed away on February 16, 2026, in Monroe County.

Evan is survived by his beloved daughter, Mirai Bailey; his mothers, Susan Snapp and Rose Gammel, both of Columbus, and his grandmother, Norene Bailey of Caledonia. He is also survived by his sister, Makenna Gammel, his brothers, Ian Bailey and his wife Aynsley, Zane Bailey and his wife Genesis, and numerous nieces and nephews. Evan was an active member of First Christian Church in West Point, MS.

The visitation will be on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 10:00-11:00 at Lowndes Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 at Lowndes Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Friendship Cemetery, Columbus, Ms. Lowndes Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
