Faye McCool Ethel Faye Adams McCool, 70, of Columbus, MS passed away Saturday, January 7, 2012 at her residence. Visitation for Mrs. McCool was Monday, January 9, 2012 from 6 – 9 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Services where Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. James Gardner officiating. Interment was in Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Detroit, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mrs. McCool was born November 16, 1941 to the late Edgar and Ethel Adilly Duckworth Adams in Columbus, MS. She married James M. McCool on January 2, 1959 and lived in Millport and Columbus her entire life. Mrs. McCool attended the Pentecostal Church and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McCool is preceded in death by her husband - James M. McCool, sister – Willadean Adams, brothers – Raymond Adams, Johnny Adams and Lelond Adams. Mrs. McCool is survived by her daughters – Debbie Blanton, Millport, AL and Kim (Joel) Wright, Millport, AL, sons – James E. McCool, Columbus, MS, Danny McCool, Millport, AL and David McCool, Columbus, MS, sister – Mary Stewart, Cullman, AL, brother – Edgar (Elizabeth) Adams, Millport, AL, Grandchildren – Angie Fortner, Rita Robertson, Cale Wright, Lakelyn McCool and Mindy Welch, Great-grandchildren – Austin Fortner, Lindsey Fortner, Chandler Robertson, Lila Welch and Ethan Welch. Pallbearers will be Mike McCool, Tommy Crump, Morris Adams, Scot Adams, Alan Crump and Wayne Cantrell.
