Frances O. Adams, 87, of Steens, MS, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital- GT in Columbus, MS.

Memorial Service will be Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at New Hope Church, 2503 New Hope Road, Columbus, MS.

Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS, entrusted with all arrangements.

Mrs. Adams was born on June 14, 1937, in Noxubee County, MS, to the late George Finch, Sr.  and Vera Mae Slawson Finch. She was a member of New Hope Church.  In high school, Mrs. Adams loved playing basketball and running track.  Once she was out of high school, she worked in the food industry as a manager. Mrs. Adams loved and adored her cat - Sweetie. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Adams is preceded in death by her husband- H.R. "Rocky" Adams; daughter- Debbie Hillman; siblings- George, Robert, Helen, Jerry, Geneva, and Chuck.

Mrs. Adams is survived by her son- Lacy L. Lee (Kimberly), Jr; sister- Cherry Neely; brother- Al (Marcia) Finch; grandchildren- Robert Lee and Crystal McAlister (Michael); great grandchildren- Makayla McAlister, Lilly McAlister, Aaron McAlister and great great grandchild- Elora McAlister.
