Frances S. Bozeman, 83 of Columbus, MS passed away, Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS. Visitation for Mrs. Bozeman will be Monday, May 27, 2013 from 1 – 2 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Services will follow at 2 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Curtis Bray and Bro. Roy Hawkins officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Bozeman was born September 21, 1929 in Hamilton, Monroe County, MS to the late G.W. and Oleta Walker Sanders, Sr. She moved to Columbus in 1954 from Winfield, AL. Mrs. Bozeman was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Columbus, MS where she was a G.A. teacher, taught Sunday School and Training Union and was a member of the W.M.U. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, reading and providing and taking care of her family while working and ministering in the community. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bozeman was preceded in death by her husband Clifton Bozeman, Jr. Mrs. Bozeman is survived by her daughters – Kay Roberts, Mobile, AL and Janeen (Richard) Snyder, Blytheville, AR, son – Billy (Glenda) Bozeman, Columbus, MS, sisters – Reba Malone, Lackey, MS and Betty (Richard) House, Manchester, TN, brothers – Lloyd Sanders, Hampton, IL and Greely Sanders, Jr., Columbus, MS, 6 grandchildren – Jonathan (Vanessa) Bozeman, Janet Bozeman, Tammi (Redus) Brown, Rebecca (Shane) Speights, Justin Snyder and Kelle Snyder, 5 great-grandchildren – Michelle Brooks, Samantha Speights, Tyler Speights, David Bozeman and Andrew Bozeman. Pallbearers will be Ted Dahlem, Frank Brown, Jimmy Malone, Ron Cook, Jonathan Bozeman and Wayne Malone. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Hudson, Rufus Mason, J.B.
