Frances Virginia Brown, 73, of Columbus, MS passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at her residence.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A Graveside Service will follow at 3:00 PM at Furnace Hill Cemetery, Vernon, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Ms. Brown was born June 11, 1944, to the late David Rufus and Ola Mae Barham Brown, Sr. She was a hairdresser at Regis salon for over 25 years. Ms. Brown enjoyed going to the casino and playing bingo, and she was of the Baptist faith.

Ms. Brown is survived by her brother-David R. Brown, Jr., Kosciusko, MS; sisters-Peggy McDaniel and Deborah Lynn Trussell, both of Columbus, MS; nieces-Pam McDaniel, Kosciusko, MS; Kim (Marty) Long, Philadelphia, MS; Samantha (Allen) Watkins, Madison, MS; Melissa (Jimmy) Helton, Arnold, MO; and Brittany Trussell Gray, Columbus, MS; 7 great nephews; and 1 great niece.
