Frances Adean Mason Cooper, 78, of Columbus, MS passed away Friday, January 19, 2018, at Trinity  Care, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2018, from 12:30 – 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow on Sunday, January 21, 2018, at 2:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Foster officiating and Rev. Sarah Windham assisting. Interment will be at Lone Oak Cemetery, Steens, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Ms. Cooper was born on August 14, 1939, in Columbus, MS to the late Harvey Bryant and Ollie Frances Smith Mason. She was a loving, devoted, and caring mother and grandmother. Ms. Cooper truly loved to help others. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Ms. Cooper was preceded in death by her sisters- Myrtie Honeycutt, Margie McRae, and Martha Vaughn.

Ms. Cooper is survived by her daughters- Rhonda Frances (Gary) Hurt of Columbus, MS, Marilyn (Bill) Dale Taylor of Lufkin, TX, and Regina (Jerry) Gayle Warren of Flower Mound, TX; sons- Eugene Bryant Cooper of Brooksville, MS, and Glen Tyson Cooper of Columbus, MS; grandchildren- Jeremy (Bethany) Hurt, Hannah Hurt, Jonathan Cooper, Matthew Cooper, Billy Taylor, Jennifer (Cody) Gober, Kerry Warren, and Jerry Warren, Jr.; great-grandchildren- Tyson Gober and Ethan Gober; great-grandchildren to be- Helen Elaine Gober; sisters- Lois (Charles) Vincent of Hastings, MI, Doris (Freeman) Petty of Pine Bluff, NC, Inez (Freeman) Harcrow of Kennedy, AL, Margaret (Leslie) Baucom of Steens, MS, Thelma (Steve) Strickland of Columbus, MS, and Christine (Roger) Perrigan of Columbus, MS; brothers- Jack (Sue) Mason of Columbus, MS, Bill (Maxine) Mason of Steens, MS, James (Debra) Mason of Columbus, MS, and Rufus (Jane) Mason of Steens, MS.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Warren, Jr., Billy Taylor, Jeremy Hurt, Jonathan Cooper, Matthew Cooper, and Cody Gober. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Trinity Personal Care and Camellia Hospice.
