Frances Farr, 97, of Columbus, MS, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Baptist Memorial – GT in Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS, with Bro. Matt Moehring officiating. Interment will follow at Kingsville Cemetery in Detroit, Alabama. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS will be directing.

Ms. Farr was born February 14, 1929, in Detroit, Alabama to the late James Robert Farr and Onnie Mae Markham Farr. She worked at Seminole Manufacturing in Columbus from the time she graduated from Hatley High School until it closed. Over the years, she sold Tupperware and Sarah Coventry Jewelry on the side. She sold jewelry for many years, and had won many awards and was #1 in the Southeast. In addition to her parents, Ms. Farr is preceded in death by her Siblings Victor “Vic” Farr, Lee Sanders, Mildred Dyer, Robbie Jones Wingo, and Charles A Farr.

Ms. Farr is survived by a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
