Frank Junior Garrard, 50 of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013. Visitation will be Sunday, December 22, 2013 from 6:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will be Monday, December 23, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chester Shaw officiating and Bubba Dees assisting. Interment will be in Friendship Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mr. Garrard was born November 28, 1963 to Franklin D. & the late Marilyn Northington Garrard in Aberdeen, MS and lived in Columbus, MS all his life. He was employed with Glenn Machine Works, Columbus, MS for the past 15 years as a crane operator. Mr. Garrard enjoyed gardening, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren who he called his little buddies. It didn't matter who you were, you were his little buddy. He was an avid Alabama football fan and loved outdoor activities. In addition to his mother, Mr. Garrard was preceded in death by his mother - in-law - Patricia Nickoles, grandparents - Roy and Avaline Northington and Harvey and Ethel Garrard. In addition to his father - Franklin D. Garrard, Haleyville, AL , Mr. Garrard is survived by his wife - Paige Garrard, Columbus, MS, daughters - Amanda (Brian Gartman) Jordan, Columbus, MS, Ashley (Sean) Dean, Columbus, MS, sons - Paul (Jennifer) Garrard, Columbus, MS, Daniel Garrard, Columbus, MS, brother - Johnny Garrard, Haleyville, AL, little buddies - Michael, Justin & Aubree Jordan, Abbie Garrard, Wyatt Garrard, Tiffany and Triston Dean, foster child - Hannah Pallbearers will be Paul Garrard, Daniel Garrard, Michael Jordan, Bryan Gartman, Sean Dean and George Nickoles. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Glenn Machine Works, Columbus, MS and employees of East Lowndes Water Association, Columbus, MS.
