Frank Maurice Jenkins, Sr., 81, of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020, at his residence.

A family only Funeral service will be Monday, March 23, 2020 at 11:00 in the Lowndes Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Melvin Mordecai officiating. Friends may watch service online at www.lowndesfuneralhome.net .

Mr. Jenkins was born June 3, 1938, to the late Homer and Nannie Hembree Jenkins in Newport, TN. He retired as a TSGT from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service.  Mr. Jenkins was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Columbus, MS, he loved the Lord and loved serving the Lord.  He enjoyed fishing, baseball and watching the Atlanta Braves.  In addition to his wife, Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by his wife – Elvira Jenkins.

Mr. Jenkins is survived by his daughters – Deborah Owens, Columbus, MS and Linda (Judy Patterson) Jenkins, Columbus, MS; son – Frank (Tammy) Jenkins, Jr., Columbus, MS; grandchildren – Laura Kelly, Brian Jenkins, David Christ, and Timothy Jenkins; great-grandchildren – Nicholas Jenkins, Gabriel Christ, Brianna Christ, Zaylie Jenkins, Jillian Kelly, Kylie Christ, Amelia Kelly, Jadon Kellum, and Jude Kellum, brothers – Charles Jenkins and Gary Jenkins.
