Frank Dean Moore, 81 of Livingston, AL passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at Anderson Hospital, Meridian, MS.

A family graveside service will be Saturday, April 25, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS with Bro. Gilbert Eaves officiating.

Mr. Moore was born January 21, 1939, to the late Charlie S. and Addie Lou Godfrey in Fayette, AL.  He worked as an electrician with IBEW for 60 years and was a member of Local #917.  He married Jackie B. Boyd in Sumter County, AL in 1973 and was a member of First Baptist Church, Livingston, AL where he started the Brotherhood program and went on home mission trips.  Mr. Moore was a jack of all trades and especially liked carpentry and farming.

Mr. Moore is survived by his wife of 46 years – Jackie B. Moore, Livingston, AL; children – Boyd Dewayne Moore, Concord, NC, Carol N. Moore (Jon) Byard, Simpsonville, SC, Linda G. Moore (Richard) Walsh, Concord, NC, Darrell Ray (Donna) Moore, Concord, NC, Frank Dean Moore, Jr., Concord, NC, Phillip Lee Moore, Livingston, AL, Gerald (Denise) Hasty, Rincon, Ga, Denise Hasty Long Oglesby, Reform, AL, and Jarvette Hasty Glass, Savannah, GA; sisters – Faye Moore Weathers, Columbus, MS, and Helen Moore Webster, Kennedy, AL; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers will be Clayton James, Paul Roland, Nurses and Staff of ICU at Anderson Hospital, Meridian, MS, Jack Crowly, Dan Weathers, and current and retirees of IBEW Local #917.
