Frankie Bowen Frankie Bowen, 45 of Columbus, MS passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011 at his residence. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 6 PM at the Cornerstone Worship Center, Steens, MS with Bro. Bubba Dees officiating; Lowndes Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Bowen was born January 2, 1966 in Columbus, MS to Oscar Franklin Bowen, Columbus, MS and the late Rebecca Jean Ashcraft Bowen Peeks. He was a lifetime resident of Columbus, MS and a carpenter at Peeks Construction with 30 years of service. Mr. Bowen loved fishing, hunting and especially liked writing and playing music. He was a member of Cornerstone Worship Center, Steens, MS. In addition to his father, Mr. Bowen is survived by his soul mate, Lerisa Wienke, Columbus, MS; step-father, James Henry "Bud" Peeks, Columbus, MS; sons, Joshua DeRosia, Memphis, TN; Will Bowen, Florida, daughter, Tiffany Bowen, Memphis, TN; one grandson, Bryant Dunagan; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
