Mr. Frankie Lamar James, 77 of Columbus MS passed away Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, Columbus MS. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 19, 2013 from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus MS. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus MS with Bro. Charles Mullins, officiating. Interment with military honors will be in Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing. Mr. James was born Monday, January 13, 1936 in Little Rock, MS to the late Bernard James and Clarene James. He retired from U S Air Force after 28 years having served in Vietnam, Okinawa, Japan and Korea, Mr. James loved growing Better Boy Tomatoes in the summer, Mr. James is survived by his Wife - Mineko James, Columbus, MS, Brother - Bobby (Janie) James, Little Rock, MS, Sister - Nadine (Billie) Chaney, Little Rock, MS, Son - Danny (Kristie) James, Caledonia, MS, Son - David (Carmen) James, Columbus, MS, Grand Children - Jessica James, Kaley James, Justin James, Kyndal James, Megan James.
