Freida Joyce Hudspeth, 76 of Macon, MS passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

Mrs. Hudspeth was born October 5, 1941 to the late Basil Alton and Mary Kate Dean Barnhill in French Camp, MS.  She worked as a bank teller at First Deposit Bank in Jackson, MS and Wells Fargo Bank in Alaska.  Mrs. Hudspeth loved to travel and see the leaves change colors in the fall.  She was a certified scuba diver, enjoyed crafts, sewing and working with stain glass.  Above all Mrs. Hudspeth loved her pets.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers – Bruce Barnhill and Dennis Barnhill.

Mrs. Hudspeth is survived by her husband – Jerry Lee Hudspeth, Macon, MS; daughters – Renee Lewis, Meridian, MS, Tina Hudspeth, Anchorage, AK and Margie Stoneman-Froude, Atlanta, GA; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brother – Glenn Barnhill.
