Gabriele Ogden Tierce, 66, of Columbus, MS passed away Friday, May 12, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – GT, Columbus, MS.

Mrs. Tierce was born February 8, 1951, in Naumburg, Germany to Margaret Bruckner Ogden. She moved from Alaska 5 years ago and has lived in Columbus, MS since. Mrs. Tierce was a college graduate, a member of the U.S. Air Force for many years, and she retired from the State of Alaska. She married her husband George Tierce on September 4, 1969. Mrs. Tierce was a loving wife, she loved the outdoors, campingl. Her favorite NFL team was the New Orleans Saints and her favorite SEC team was the Ole Miss Rebels both of which see enjoyed watching play football. Mrs. Tierce also loved her dogs very much.

Mrs. Tierce is survived by her husband – George Y. Tierce, Jr., Columbus, MS; sons – George Y Tierce III, Benjamin J. (Caroline) Tierce, and Kristoffer F. Tierce; parents - Benjamin and Margaret Ogden; brother – Robert F. "Frankie" Ogden; grandchildren – Stephanie Reed, Grace Tierce, Charlee Rose Tierce, and Ella Tierce.
