Garry Wayne Oxner, 66 of Columbus, MS passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at the VA Medical Center, Jackson, MS. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Bethel Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. Mr. Oxner was born March 25, 1948 in Yuma, AR to the late Floyd and Thelma Oxner. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam and Korea. Mr. Oxner is survived by his wife-Rita Fay Oxner, Columbus, MS; daughters- Christina Amaya and Angela (Bo) Hardin both of Yuma, AZ; sons- D. J. (Patricia) Doster, Columbus, MS and Shannon (Tina) Doster, West Point, MS; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and a sister in law-Debbie Levett, Columbus, MS.
