Gary Chain, 70,  of Columbus, MS passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019, at his residence. Graveside service will be Friday, January 11, 2019, at 10:00 AM at Friendship Cemetery with Bro. Breck Ladd officiating.

Mr. Chain was born September 12, 1948, to the late Henry Lillian Chain. He was an avid reader and loved his family very much. Mr. Chain was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother-Russell Chain and grandchild-Zachary Lenwood Chain.

Mr. Chain is survived by his two sons- Jason Lenwood Chain and Travis (Shannon) Chain; sister-Linda Frances Swepston; grandchildren- Maddelane Lovinggood, Brooke Chain, Layla Chain, and Avery Chain.
