Andi Gayle Gore, 71 of Columbus, MS passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022, at her residence.
A visitation will be Wednesday. March 9, 2022, from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home. Columbus, MS. A graveside service will be on March 9, 2022, at 2:30 PM at Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS with Bro. Jerry Robbins officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Gore was born February 17, 1951, in Macon, MS to the late Eugene and Lessie Irene Fowler Varner. She was a member of Fernbank Baptist Church, Millport, AL, and was a homemaker most of her life. Mrs. Gore was a singer and sang with the gospel group "Led By The Spirit". She enjoyed cooking and was a Momma to many. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gore was preceded in death by her son – Jeffrey Gore; sister – Ima Dean Boykin; brother – Mike Varner; and stepfather – Norman Doc Fowler.
Mrs. Gore is survived by her husband – Edward Eugene "Gene" Gore, Columbus MS; daughters – Suzey (Danny) Hooper, Lindsey (Ryan) Polk, Candace Dawn (Abdul) Aziz; sons – Mark (Debbie) Rigdon and Gene (Ashley) Gore; 11 grandchildren – Hunter (Lauren) Buchanan, Lexie (Alan) Castleman, Mara Leigh Ruth, Charlsie (Kye) Van Someren, Gavin Quinton, Sophia Aziz, Madison Rigdon, Ashlin Gore, Tyler Castille, Harrison Gore, and Austin Cook; 9 great-grandchildren – London Castleman, Chandler Van Someren, Seth Polk, Evan Eugene Polk, Titus Buchanan, Maximus Buchanan, Blair Cook, and Grayson Castille and daughter-in-law – Kathy Gore.
Pallbearers will be Kye Van Someren, Alan Castleman, Gene Gore, Ryan Polk, Tyler Castille, Danny Hooper, and George Burchfield.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
