Geneva M. Wright, 76, of Columbus, MS, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT, Columbus, MS.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Wright was born June 6, 1940, to the late George and Verna Mae Slawson Finch in Macon, MS. She moved from Mt. Pleasant, TX to Columbus in 1989. Mrs. Wright worked in banking in the collection department, and she was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Wright is survived by her sons-Mike Saam and Steve Saam; and daughter- Pam Saam; sisters-Frances Adams and Cherry Neely; brothers-Jerry Macklin, Chuck Finch, Al Finch, Robert Finch; and grandchild-Jeremy Saam.

Geneva and family would wish to thank all the doctors, nurses, Cancer Center employees and all hospice staff for making her life as pleasant as could be in the last stage of her life.
