George Leslie Davis, Jr., age 87, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018, at Windsor Place Nursing Home, Columbus, MS.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018, at 10:30 AM at Thomastown Baptist Church, 7730 Hwy 429, Kosciusko, MS 39090 with Bro. Travis officiating.

Mr. Davis was born on May 6, 1931, in Leake County, MS to the late George L. and Lora Foster Davis. He worked in quality control for Vickers Manufacturing for 38 years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his son- Fredrick George Davis, and his daughter- Cheryl Diane Floyd.

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife- Ada Ruth Pearson Davis; grandson- Adam (Melissa) Davis of Starkville, MS; granddaughters- Lea (Thomas) McCracken, and Leslie (Kirk) Dollar; and 5 great-grandchildren.
