Gerry Marlene Murphy, 70, of Columbus, MS, passed away Friday, April 14, 2023, at Trinity Health Care in Columbus, MS.

Ms. Murphy was born May 31, 1952, in St. Louis, MO to the late Jerry Roscoe Thompson and Angela Qualqliata Thompson. She was a member of First Christian Church in Columbus, MS. Ms. Murphy worked as an Accounts Specialist for Delta Dental.  Ms. Murphy is preceded in death by her parents; child- Shawnee Murphy and grandchild Shawn Ricks.

Ms. Murphy is survived by her sons- Shannon (Carmon) Murphy and Adam Murphy; Grandchildren-Faye Warren, Janet Warren, Tyler Murphy, McKenzie Murphy, Molly Murphy, Tucker Murphy, Taedden Murphy, and Matteo Murphy; Four great-grandchildren; Sisters- Diane Witte, Carol Johnson, and Sandy Thompson.
