Gloria Fowler Reeves, 70 of Steens, MS passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be January 6, 2022 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be Friday, January 7, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenny Gardner officiating.  Interment will follow at Living Faith Tabernacle Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Reeves was born September 13, 1951 to the late Brooks and Josie Pitts Fowler in Sulligent, AL. She was a member of Living Faith Tabernacle, Columbus, MS and retired as a caterer.   In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reeves was preceded in death by her husband – Benford "Pete" Reeves and brother – Mike Fowler.

Mrs. Reeves is survived by her daughters – Laura (Jamarah) Barton, Dallas, TX and Melissa (James) Price, Steens, MS; son – Cody (Patricia) Reeves; grandchildren – Eliot Price, Naomi Price, Shelby Reeves, Jackson Reeves and Glorianne Reeves; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters – Kathy (Barney Conn) Hanson and Linda (Wayne) Henson.

Pallbearers will be Mark Baldwin, Glenn Baldwin, Hank Vaiden, Bryan Fant, Clint Hanson and Justin Dove.  Honorary pallbearers will be the Staff of Aurora Rehabilitation and Healthcare and the Staff of Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle ICU.
