Godfrey Ronald Tillman, 59, of Jackson, MS passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Starkville Manor, Starkville, MS. Mr. Tillman was born May 21, 1953 in Washington D.C. to the late Benjamin and Bettye Wright Tillman. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of Aldersqate United Methodist Church, Jackson, MS. Mr. Tillman was also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity. He was employed at Jim Hill High School as an attendance counselor for six years. Mr. Tillman thoroughly enjoyed sports, reading, spending time with his family and never met a stranger. Mr. Tillman is survived by his wife – Carolyn Tillman, Jackson, MS; daughters – Elizabeth Tillman, Marian Tillman, Deborah Tillman all of Jackson, MS; aunt – Marion Martin, Austell, GA; cousins – Eric Muhammad, Atlanta, GA, Raul Martin, Austell, GA, Peter Martin, Austell, GA, Malcolm Martin, Brooklyn, NY.
