Gracie Lewis Brandon, 94, of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Trinity Health Care, Columbus, MS.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, January 24, 2016 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Dr. David Skinner officiating and Bro. Steve Lammons assisting. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Brandon was born, one of 13 brothers and sisters, on December 10, 1921 to the late Harvey E. and Lillie Mae Gay Lewis in Gordo, AL. She married Lynn Robert Brandon in the home of Rev. Lester Stokes in Columbus, MS on September 4, 1942. She was a practical jokester, loved to travel and have fun with her friends. Mrs. Brandon has lived in Columbus for the past 74 years, after moving here from Gordo, AL.

Mrs. Brandon is survived by her daughter-Barbara (W.A.) Caldwell, Columbus, MS; son-Bobby (Linda) Brandon, Columbus, MS; grandchildren-Rhonda Davis, Kelly (Andy) Brown, Todd Brandon, Andy (Jennifer) Caldwell; 8 great-grandchildren; sister-Nona Driver; brother-James Lewis; and special friends-Shelia Bontrager, Tanya Johnson, and Jane Anderson.

Pallbearers will be Todd Brandon, Andy Caldwell, Brandon Davis, Chase Brandon, Brady Davis, Chandler Brandon, Drew Brown, Andy Brown and Joe Fuller. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joy Berry Sunday School Class.
