Martin Gregory Godwin, 46 of Helena, AL passed away Thursday, March 26, 2020,  at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster, AL.

A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced by Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.

Mr. Godwin was born November 20, 1972, in Birmingham, AL to JoAnn Godwin and the late Gerald Bain Godwin, Sr.   He was employed with Yates Engineering as a design engineer.  In addition to his father, Mr. Godwin was preceded in death by his brother – Gerald Bain Godwin, Jr.

Mr. Godwin is survived by his mother – JoAnn Godwin, Columbus, MS and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
