Gregory "Mark" Price

Gregory “Mark” Price, 64, of Columbus, MS, passed away Friday, May 29, 2026, at his residence.

A memorial service will be held June 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church, Columbus, MS, with Bro. Mike Smith is officiating. Lowndes Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Price was born on March 26, 1962, in Columbus, MS, to the late Travis Edward and Bobbie Gail Junkin Price. He attended East Lowndes Academy. Mr. Price was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Columbus, MS. He was a trucker and a logger and enjoyed crop-dusting, flying, and Corvettes. He also loved fishing and sitting on the front porch listening to his music. In addition to his parents, Mr. Price was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Price Neal.

Mr. Price is survived by his wife of 20 years, Sheri Lynn Barham Price; children – Chazz (Colby) Bishop and Morgan Putt Wells; sister – Jan Gifford; brother – Mitch (Wanda) Price and Mike (Melissa) Price; grandchildren – Jhett Bishop, Shelby Reeves, Ean Putt, Jackson Reeves, Brenston Bishop, and Brantley Bishop and a host of nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be Duncan Camp, Mike Price, Mitch Price, Colby Bishop, Rusty Barham, Jimmy Barham, and Tony Foster.
