Thomas Harold Youngblood, Sr., 79, of Columbus, MS passed away Saturday, August 17, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital- GT in Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 18, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will be held Monday, August 19, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Breck Ladd officiating. Interment will be in Tabernacle Cemetery, Ethelsville, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.

Mr. Youngblood was born November 22, 1939 in Liberty, AL to the late Thomas Hill and Erlene Cook Youngblood. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Columbus, MS. Mr. Youngblood served in the National Guard during the Cuban Missile Crisis. During his working career, he worked for Southern Airways, General Tire, and was an insurance agent with Allstate for over 27 years. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed singing, being outdoors, riding tractors, bush hogging and baling hay.

Mr. Youngblood is survived by his wife of 22 years- Dianne Dowdle Youngblood of Columbus, MS; sons- Tom (Mary) Youngblood of St. Petersberg, FL, Robert (Beth) Youngblood of Tupelo, MS; daughter- Allison (Stephen) Polomsky of St. Mary's County, MD; grandchildren- Megan Youngblood, Merritt Polomsky, Jack Polomsky; brother- Ralph (Peggy) Youngblood, Sr. of Columbus, MS; nephews - Ralph Youngblood, III, Matthew Youngblood, Neal Wilkerson and Seth Wilkerson.

Pallbearers will be Brad Lytle, Chris Lytle, Greg Youngblood, Alan Youngblood, Stephen Polomsky, and Jack Polomsky.
